If it is your first time caravanning, here are some tips and tricks to consider to turn you into a seasons pro in no time.
The tips provided here will ensure you make the most out of your trip. They may just be the difference between having a vantastic trip or coming home with a shocker of a story. Below is a list of some of our favourite that you should consider before embarking on your next caravan trip.
There are quite a lot of Camping books out there and you should find a copy of one. Our favourite is the 2015 edition of Camps 8. It has had many improvements since previous editions and includes a lot more parks with more free and low cost campsites, caravan parks, station stays, national parks and rest areas around Australia.

The same people who brought you the camping books, also have create an App. There are many apps out there, but the best thing about the Camps App is that they are all verified parks so you know you’re not doing anything illegal. It’s around $10 in the App store.

To prevent you from tripping, position solar-powered garden lights near tent stakes and can also be used as night lights indoors. It is safer for kids than candles and they last a long time!

DRY TOILET MADE FROM MILK CRATE
Use a sturdy dry toilet making use of a scavenged milk crate would be great for camping, emergencies or your remote cabin. I would add a trash bag over the travel potty. Get the directions here.
